Yesterday North Bay Police responded to a report of a man who made a threat with a knife. Police have arrested and charged:
James Deveaux, age 20, of North Bay with:
One count of Assault with a Weapon;
One count of Uttering threats; and
One count of breach of probation.
It is alleged that the accused entered a business in the Trout Lake Road area of North Bay and was observed shoplifting by an employee. . When the man was approached a knife was revealed and a verbal threat was made to the business employee. The man fled the business. Police arrived and the investigation located the man in the vicinity where he was arrested.
The accused has been held in custody and will appear in the North Bay Courthouse on Friday April 5th, 2019 for a bail hearing in answer to the charges.
