On Saturday September 7th police responded to a residence reporting someone trying to gain access to the dwelling. As a result of the investigation Matthew Kilbourne, age 46, of Trout Creek has been arrested and charged with:
- One count of Mischief;
- One Count of Possession of Break-In Tools;
- One Count of Carrying a Concealed Weapon;
- Four Counts of Breach of Recognizance ;
- One count of breach of probation.
It is alleged that shortly before 8 am on Saturday September 7th police responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Clarence Street in North Bay. The accused was attempting to gain entry to a residence and was observed spray painting a wall outside the residence. Police were contacted and when they arrived the accused was located outside in close proximity to the residence.
At that point the accused was in possession of several items considered as break-in tools and also had a knife concealed on his person.
The accused was arrested and remains in custody pending a bail hearing in the North Bay Courthouse.
