North Bay Police responded to a robbery at a business on Main Street late Friday night.
As a result of the investigation Tyler Porter, a 28 year old man from North Bay has been arrested and charged with;
- One Count of Robbery; and
- Three Counts of Breach of Probation.
It is alleged that on the 28th of June 2019 shortly before midnight the accused walked into a convenience store located in the 600 block area of Main Street East in North Bay. A store clerk confronted the man as he was observed concealing items. The accused produced an edged weapon and pointed it towards the clerk. The accused fled the store with items he had taken.
No injuries occurred and a description of the accused was obtained by police.
The accused was located in North Bay on July 1st and arrested.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
