On Wednesday April 23rd, at around 12:40 am officers were dispatched to a disturbance on Gladstone Avenue, in North Bay. Upon arrival, a male was suffering from stab wounds, and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. Officers began to investigate the incident, and learned that the accused had attended a residence on Gladstone Avenue at around 11:20 pm on Tuesday April 22nd, and had caused some damage to a vehicle and assaulted a person in the driveway. The accused left the area, returning approximately 1.5 hours later, at which time he smashed a window and gained entry to the residence. Once inside, an altercation ensued and the accused stabbed the victim, an adult male, with an edged weapon. The accused then stole the victim’s backpack and fled the area.
