The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has arrested a woman and seized more than $206,000 in illicit drugs following a Street Crime Unit (SCU) investigation.
The accused, Patricia Baker, 34-year-old, female, of Hamilton, Ontario, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Methamphetamine)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (Crack Cocaine)
On January 29, at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the NBPS Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop on Highway 11 near Powassan following a lengthy drug trafficking investigation, within the City of North Bay, Municipality of West Nipissing, and Nipissing First Nations. The accused was arrested without incident, and the search resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of controlled substances.
Subsequent search led to the seizure of the following items:
- Controlled substances with an estimated street value of over $206,000, including:
- 477 grams Fentanyl
- 112 grams Crystal Methamphetamine
- 54 grams of Cocaine
- 14 grams of Crack Cocaine
- 2024 Jeep Compass

The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
