Members of the North Bay Police Service have arrested and charged a 22-year old male with Break and Enter.
The accused in this incident is Joshua ACASAKI, male, age 22, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- One count of Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence
- Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
On December 14, 2022, members of the North Bay Police Service responded to a report that the accused had broken into a business on Fraser Street, North Bay. At approximately 11:30 p.m. the accused damaged an exterior window to gain entry to the business. He subsequently stole a quantity of Canadian currency from the business, then fled the location. The accused was recorded committing the offence by a security camera. Police located the accused at approximately 12:00 a.m. on December 15, 2022, at the intersection of Main Street and Sherbrooke Street, North Bay, where he was arrested and charged.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
