Members of the North Bay Police Service have arrested and charged a 59-year old male with Break and Enter and Theft Over $5,000.

The accused in this incident is Joseph Eugene Rene BERGERON, male, age 59, of North Bay, who is charged with:

• One count of Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence
• One count of Theft Over $5,000

As part of an investigation, members of the North Bay Police Service arrested the accused on March 4, 2023. It is alleged that, on several occasions between May 2022 and January 2023, the accused entered a secure building and stole a quantity of Canadian currency totalling more than $5,000.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and is set to appear before the Court on April 11, 2023.
