Police Charge Three with Drug Trafficking Offences

On November 22, 2022, members of the North Bay Police Service arrested a 26-year old male, a 37-year old male, and a 31-year old female on drug trafficking charges.

The accused in this incident are:

Jacob LAUZON, male, age 26, of Windsor, Ontario, who is charged with:

  • One count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance
  • One count of Traffick in Schedule I substance

Kevin Daniel Hector LAVIGNE, male, age 37, of North Bay, who is charged with:

  • One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking

Kessie Alicia Yvonne TURCOTTE, female, age 31, of North Bay, who is charged with:

  • One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking
  • One count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order

As part of an investigation by the North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit and Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit, officers arrested the accused at approximately 9:00 p.m. on November 22, 2022, in a parking lot on Maplewood Avenue, North Bay.

Searches by police resulted in the seizure of:

  • Approximately 127 grams of suspected cocaine
  • Approximately 3 suspected Percocet pills
  • A 2022 Hyundai SUV as offence related property

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $15,000.

The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
