Members of the North Bay Police Service arrested and charged a 39-year old female with Break and Enter and Assault on March 12, 2023.

The accused in this incident is Ashley Noel ROBERTSON, female, age 39, of North Bay, who is charged with:

• One count of Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence
• One count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm

On March 12, 2023, members of the North Bay Police Service responded to a report that the accused had entered the victim’s residence without consent, engaged in a verbal altercation, and subsequently physically assaulted the victim. The victim was able to flee the residence and contact police. No weapon was was used in the assault.

The victim was transported by EMS to hospital with non-life threatening physical injuries. Police located the accused at the accused’s residence where she was arrested.

The victim and accused are known to one another.

The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
