Police Investigating Incident at Children’s Vaccination Clinic

The North Bay Police Service is investigating reports of individuals being accosted at a children’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic that occurred on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

On Sunday, November 28, 2021, the North Bay Police Service received reports that individuals attending a children’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic were accosted by individuals protesting the clinic.

Members of the North Bay Police Service were present at the clinic and are in the process of reviewing the actions of individuals and interviewing victims. Where criminal acts are found to have occurred, police will take appropriate enforcement action, including laying charges.

The North Bay Police Service respects the rights of individuals to peacefully protest, but will not tolerate any interference with people’s right to safety when accessing health care and attending a vaccination clinic.

The North Bay Police Service will be providing an increased police presence in the areas of future clinics and, if criminal behaviour takes place, we will not hesitate to take enforcement action.
