Police seek Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspect

North Bay Police seek the public’s assistance with an ongoing robbery investigation involving a handgun.

At approximately 8:30 pm on Wednesday night, May 13th, 2020, police responded to an apartment building in the 2400 block of Trout Lake Road in North Bay. The female victim reported she had let a person into her apartment thinking the suspect was a personal support worker.Once inside the suspect pointed a black handgun at the victim and demanded she turn over her purse and medications.The victim turned over the items and the suspect fled the apartment building on foot heading towards Connaught Avenue.

The victim was not physically harmed.

The suspect is described as;

  • a woman slightly over 5 feet tall with a slim build
  • blond hair that was in a bun at the time

She was wearing;

  • black eyeglasses
  • a medical mask
  • a teal colored jacket
  • black gloves
  • she was carrying a pink backpack

Stolen items include several bank cards and prescription medication.

Police are looking to identify the suspect in the pictures acquired from the scene security camera.
