Search Warrant at Callander Residence

Police seize stolen property, drugs and a prohibited weapon as part of a search warrant at a Callander residence.

The investigation has resulted in the arrest of four people;

David Turgeon, age 36, of Callander is charged with;

Two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;

One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;

One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;

One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon; and

One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance

Bruce Duhaime, age 55, of Callander is charged with;

Two counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;

One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;

One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;

One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon;

One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance; and

One Count of Possession of Firearm Contrary to Order

John Duhaime, age 51, of Callander is charged with;

Two counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;

One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;

One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;

One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon;

One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance; and

Two counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order

Mike Duhaime, age 43, of Callander is charged with;

Two counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;

One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;

One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;

One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon; and

One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance

Police were investigating information alleging stolen property was located at a King Street residence in Callander. The investigation saw members the North Bay Police, including assistance from the Street Crime Unit and the Community Response Unit execute a search warrant on Saturday February 12th, 2021.

The search warrant resulted in the seizure of;

  • approximately 14.9 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
  • two bicycles reported stolen
  • a set of nun chucks (prohibited weapon)
  • a high capacity firearm magazine (a prohibited device)

The four occupants of the residence were arrested when the search warrant was executed.

John Duhaime remains in custody pending a bail hearing.

David Turgeon was released from custody by police and will appear in the North Bay Courthouse on March 30th to answer to the charges.

Mike Duhaime and Bruce Duhaime have been released from custody following bail hearings at the North Bay Courthouse and will appear in the North Bay Courthouse on March 30th to answer to their charges.
