Three Arrested on Drug Charges, $281,000 in Illegal Drugs Seized

The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 43-year-old male, a 35-year-old female, and a 17-year-old female and seized over $281,000-worth of illegal drugs.

The accused in this incident are:

A 43-year-old male from North Bay, who is charged with:

  • Three counts of Traffic in Schedule I substance
  • One count of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon

A 35-year-old female from North Bay, who is charged with:

  • Three counts of Traffic in Schedule I substance
  • One count of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon

A 17-year-old female from North Bay, who is charged with:

  • Three counts of Traffic in Schedule I substance
  • One count of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon

In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the North Bay Police Service cannot release the name or identifying information of the Young Person charged in this incident. In order to prevent the identification of the Young Person, the names of the two other accused have also been withheld.

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on November 19, 2024, members of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence in North Bay, in response to reports of a physical altercation and disturbance occurring at the location. Upon entering the residence, police observed illegal drugs and arrested the three accused. On November 20, 2024, members of the North Bay Police Service executed a search warrant on the residence.

Searches by police resulted in the seizure of:

  • Approximately 565 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • Approximately 630 grams of suspected cocaine
  • Approximately 649 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
  • A set of brass knuckles (prohibited weapon)

The estimated street value of the drugs seized in this incident is approximately $281,250.

The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
