This women-only session will feature a panel of women police officers who will share their experiences, career journeys, and insights into law enforcement. The evening includes an open question-and-answer session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the profession in a supportive environment.

Participants will also have the chance to try the shuttle run, a component of police fitness testing, either by participating themselves or watching a demonstration.

“International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women in policing and inspire the next generation to consider this rewarding career,” said Chief Daryl Longworth of the North Bay Police Service. “We hope this session helps break down barriers, answer questions, and highlight the many opportunities available in policing.”

Women interested in attending are encouraged to come on their own or bring a friend. Registration is required to confirm a spot, and there is no cost to attend.
