Firearm Recovered by Police
The North Bay Police Service Patrol section, recovered the outstanding firearm in relation to an investigation earlier this week, involving a stolen vehicle and two stolen firearms. The vehicle and one firearm were recovered on March 24th, while the second firearm, a Browning BLR Lever-action 30.06, was recovered by police in the early morning hours of March 26th. There are no further outstanding firearms in relation to this incident.
A 49-year-old female from North Bay, was charged with several offences in relation to the original incident, and has been remanded in custody until a bail hearing on March 27th.
