Stabbing Incident Under Investigation

On December 29^th, 2023, members of the North Bay Police Service responded to a stabbing incident in a parking lot outside City Hall, on McIntyre Street in North Bay.

At around 4pm on December 29^th, officers were dispatched to North Bay City Hall, located at 200 McIntyre Street East, North Bay, in relation to a possible stabbing. Officers located a male in the parking lot with lacerations to his face and head area. The victim was transported to hospital, where he received medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect in this incident is described as a male of medium to heavier build, with a salt and pepper goatee, wearing a black toque, camo winter coat, blue jeans, tan Timberland-like boots, and a carrying a backpack with large colourful lettering written “Gymshark” vertically on the backpack.

The North Bay Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing with the investigation.
