Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Suspect Still Outstanding

North Bay Police Service Patrol Officers responded to a call for service on March 29th, involving a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered, however, as of yet, the suspect has not been identified.

On the 29th of March, 2024, between the hours of 2:30 and 3:30pm, an unknown male gained access to various areas within a Lakeshore Drive hotel, including locker rooms and the staff lounge. The suspect took a set of keys belonging to the victim, who was an employee there. Later that evening, the accused is observed on CCTV returning to the hotel at approximately 9:50pm. He then attended the parking lot and removed the victim’s 2014 black Mitsubishi Mirage, and was last seen driving away southbound on Lakeshore Drive.

On March 31st, the vehicle was located at an address on Booth Road, and was examined by North Bay Police Service Forensic Investigators, and the victim was notified.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police are looking to identify and speak with the male in the attached photos, who was in the area at the time of the incident.
